We’re delighted you're interested in joining the Ashe Green Riding volunteer team.

Volunteers play an essential role in supporting our horses, riders, and daily yard operations. Whether you're helping with lessons, grooming, or simply lending a hand around the yard, your time truly makes a difference.

If you love horses, enjoy being outdoors, and want to be part of the AGR Team, we’d love to hear from you.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers may be involved in a variety of yard and horse-care activities, including:

• Grooming and tacking up

• Leading horses during lessons

• Taking horses in/out of stables and fields

• Mucking out stables

• Poo-picking paddocks and clearing hay

• Feeding horses

• Yard tidying, sweeping, and cleaning buckets/drinkers

• Cleaning tack

• Welcoming clients and assisting staff during activities

No previous experience is required, just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to always striving to ourhigh standards.

Volunteer Requirements

To volunteer, you must:

• Be 13 years or older

• Understand that this is a physical, outdoor role – so be prepared for walking, being on your feet and in all-weathers

• Wear suitable clothing and protection as per our requirements (this will be sent in our volunteer pack)
